What makes a project run smoothly? Is it the developers, the management, the language used, the enforcement of best practices, or perhaps it is the CMS that is used? I would argue all of these factor in, but ultimately they culminate into one thing: a ticket. The humble ticket that we all spend so much effort completing, but often little time is put into the ticket itself, much to the detriment of all involved. This session will walk through the lifecycle of a ticket, exploring what each of the people who interact with it along the way are looking to get out of it, and how we can all work to better each other and the outcome of the project by more effectively utilizing tickets.
